Featured Frogwarts Faculty: Professor Saporis
Professor Gustus Resipio Saporis
Although Professor Saporis has never met the esteemed Professor Erythmaticus, he studied under the same lectors in Elemental Concoctions. Saprois’ claim to fame was his seventh year project on “saporius induced dreaming” wherein particular flavors are hexed into beverage potions to induce a waking dream of far away lands. In his final NEWT test, Gustus concocted a Marula flavor that took the drinker to South Africa to witness the seasonal gorging of elephants during the local fruit harvest. Gustus, however, only received a pass grade because the test proctor woke from the waking dream with an enlarged elephant trunk in the place of her nose.
In his muggle persona, Professor Resipio goes by the name Greg Bach. He has worked for more than a decade in the flavor industry, working with food and beverage companies to help commercialize flavors for muggle drinks such as Gatorade and for muggle candy such as Airheads. He studied engineering at Northwestern in Chicago and his son is attending Frogwarts as a first year.
